Comments

When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string (also called a hash) created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. You can review their privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes visible to the public alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the site, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors may be able to download and extract location data from images on the site.

If you visit our login page, a temporary cookie will determine if your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain personal data and is discarded after you close your browser.

If you leave a comment, both the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely to help us recognize and approve future comments automatically.

For registered users (if any), we store the personal information provided in user profiles. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except usernames. Website admins can also access and manage this information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of your personal data that we store. You may also request that we erase your personal data, excluding any information we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
